Doing Good and Physical Therapy

Andre has met the food intake requirement that he needs. They will slowly increase his intake of pedisure as he progresses. He is getting physical therapy everyday for at least three times a day. And they have taught Lee and Candy how to do it so every time they go in to see him they can do it.

Lee and Candy would like to let everyone know, with the weekend coming up, that only them and grandparents are being allowed to see andre at this time. So if you were expecting to see him no one is being allowed now. This is just a safety precaution for andre.

Also the account for donations is underway we just spoke with the bank and papers haven't been faxed due to the banks fax being down. They have assured us the account will be up and running tomorrow I will let all know. Thanks again.

**Update Fundraiser And Donations

 A huge thank you to our friends Donavon, Donnie and Chance who have announced a date for Andre's Car Show.

Andre's Car Show will be on Sunday October 11, 2009 at Flying Roosters Parking lot From 12PM-5PM

On First and Grand In Grand Junction Colorado.

Also Our Friends over at Fiesta Guadalajara have just announced that they will have a donation center set up there at the Fruita restaurant. A big thanks to Yadira and Melchor from the family.

Thank You Andre Really loves you all and would love to attend the Car Show. I know he will love his new poster in his room.

Lee has asked me to be in charge of all Fundraisers and Donation he has given permission to everyone and anyone who would like to do something. Anything can and will help. Your prayers and support keeps us strong. So if you have any ideas please contact me my contact info is in the left hand corner.

Also the bank donation center is still in the works we are just covering paper work now. I am hoping to have that up and running in a couple of hours I will notify all shortly. Thank you so much for everything. We are constantly praying for Andre and everyone who has helped, prayed and supported us all through this time. God has comforted us and he is keeping us going thank you.

Doctor Update

The doctor has said that Andre is still the same they don't see him getting any worse just better. They switched over his breathing machine to another one to help relax his lungs. She just confirmed he doesn't have the flu. When he was first rushed in and they placed tubes down him some of the bacteria from the mouth got pushed into his lungs they are now treating it with antibiotics. He is doing good an expecting just to continue to do better. Thank you so much again for all the help and prayers God is good and he has listened to everyone. Through God Andre is and will recover. Lee has asked to continue to pray for him and pray that Andre doesn't catch any colds. Through prayer and God we are strong. Thank You Jesus.

Good Night with Good News

Andre had a better night than last night a good 12 hours. He had a minor set back when they were trying to clean out his lungs. Basically a small asthma attack but he pulled through strong and fast. Our huge plus is he also is trying to breathe on his own so they had to sedate him a little more because they don't want him to breathe on his own just yet.

Thanks again we are all staying strong and your words are bringing great comfort to Lee Candy and Marissa. They will read comments whenever they get a chance.

Andre you are the strongest little 8 year old i have ever seen in my life, i know you will fight through this because i have seen you fight through things that were truly incredible.Your cheerful, loving, and humorous personality brightens my day, and my world.  You are my life i try my best every day so you see where the decions you make will take you. I want to teach you right from wrong and show you the right path so you are successful. You are going to make it very far because you have the heart and dedication to get where you want to be.You are my #1 champion and will always be. I love you so much, with all my heart im thankful god gave you to me as my little(baby)brother. I cant wait for you to say "mer i love you". I LOVE YOU BROTHER!!!

Great News.. Still Fighting Hard..

Andre is better than what he was this morning. All readings of his have improved. Keep the prayers and prayer chains going. God IS listening and he never goes back on his word.

Thanks to Donavon Donny and Chance, Lee's close friends, there is going to be a HUGE car show.

It is still all in the works more coming soon stay tuned.  

The Support Is Powerful

Our Warrior is still fighting strong.

The family would like to thank everyone again for the powerful support. God is good. Lee Candy and Marissa have been reading your comments and it has helped them a lot thank you once again. Fundraisers and donation centers are in the works. Candy and I will be working on setting things up tomorrow. I will be posting and updating as much as possible we have some really great events in progress so stay tuned.

Andre's first update

Andre is expecting a full recovery. He is stable but in critical condition. As of now they are expecting to wake him up within the next 2-3 weeks. He is on a ventilator and heavily medicated during this time so he wont do harm to himself but is coherent. Please continue to pray for Andre's fast and a full recovery. Your support and prayer has kept Andre strong. Lee Candy and Marissa would like to thank everyone for all the help and everyrhing you have done it is much appreciated.
