Home Improving And Thank You's

Andre' is back and still doing great!!

He has been staying at both grandparents homes.

They are trying to get settled back at home but first had to do some cleaning to the house.

He is eating eating eating.

Andre' can't wait to get back to his normal self.

Yesterday he had Mer in a wrestling pin to where she was saying "ow!"

He is still on his medication and has a Doctor visit in Denver on Thursday.

He is on the look out for a new puppy to join him and the family.

He is looking for a Tea Cup Chihuahua which he loves.

I will continue and Update along the way until Andre's Full Recovery.

Welcome Back!!

Andre' is on his way back to his home Today!!

It has been a long 19 days but he is finally able to come home!

What a speedy recovery!

Andre' is still somewhat serious. Lee has received some strict regulations from the Doctor for Andre.

So he has asked IF you BEEN, ARE or FELT sick please not to come around Andre'.

The last thing we would want is him getting sick and needing to go back to the hospital.

From all of our Hearts THANK YOU to everyone who has helped during these times!

Coming Home!! :)

I just got off the phone with lee.

And from the looks of it Andre will get to come home TOMORROW!!

Unless there is a minor set back but he is looking good.

He had his feeding tube taken out this morning.

He will still need to do lots of therapy. They are thinking of having an at home physical therapist.

When he is home he will still be on Valium and Methadone due to being heavily sedated.

So he will have to be wean off it.

Improving

Andre' is improving but very tired from exercising and walking.

He is getting double fed, from his tube and eating on his own.

Right now Andre' weighs what he used to before everything happened.

But they are shooting for him to weigh 50 pounds. Although him weighing 55 pounds would be better.

Andre' has been moved out of ICU and into his own room!

He is doing wonderful and Eating on his own now!! He had some chicken nuggets from Wendy's.

He is also doing physical therapy to help him walk.

I know many of you have been wanting to see Andre' so here are some exclusive photos.

Things Are Looking Good

Andre is doing good.

They might move him out of PICU tomorrow.

He is getting stronger and receiving physical therapy.

They also removed an IV that was in his artery.

So that leaves him with only One IV left.:)

Things are looking good for him.

From what I hear he was craving pancakes last night

and today Mc Donalds.

I was with Marissa today when Andre asked to speak with her.

She had the phone on speaker.

It felt so good to hear his little voice. It sounded weak and quiet but it was definitely him.

She was so happy to hear him too her eyes watered some. :)

She asked him questions and he would reply with a simple yes and no.

But I did hear him say more than a yes or no once.

That was when she asked him what he was watching he said,

Hannah Montana :)

Thank You Mighty Jesus Miracle Worker

God listens to everyone who prays and speaks to him.. He is so wonderful and never goes back on his word.

So I would like to thank JESUS our one and only Mighty God.

Andre's family and friends is a believing family and friends.

If you believe you WILL receive.

After Andre's story has been told it should be really hard for anyone

NOT to see GOD IS REAL and GOOD.

Andre and His story is a MIRACLE.

I would like to share with everyone what Andre told Lee.

"Jesus was with me and he told me I was going to be better and be alright."

This has truly touched my heart and I hope everyone out there as well.. Praise God

Here is the update

The Breathing tube was taken out of Andre.

And he is trying to talk.

He is doing great!!

We are seeing all good signs that he will be okay and make a full recovery.

Why wouldn't he? God has already answered that for us. :)

He is very alert as well.
I received a very comforting video of him waving.

Now with God Guiding us let us begin our journey Recovering.

Trial Run

Andre is on trial run breathing. Which is like a test runs and practice for him to breathe on his own.

And he is doing good.

Continue prayer that everything goes smoothly and keeps going up from here.

Slowly Making a Comeback

They are going to try and take Andre off the breathing machines in 2 days and see how he does.

Yesterday he was taken off his beathing machine to see how he would do. He was able to breathe for about 10 minutes on his own before he got tired and stopped. Lets hope and pray that in two days his lungs will be up and running better than before. He is also awake much more and still trying to talk. They are now giving him breathing treatments every two hours rather than all day.

Catch Marissa on NBC KKCO 11 News Grand Junction

Marissa had an interview today with KKCO 11 News on NBC.

She was nervous going into it but a pro once the cameras started rolling.

She talked about Andre and what he is like before and now.

Also she was there to support and promote the fundraisers going on for her brother.

Here is what she had to say..

"Doing an interview for my brother, I was excited and at the same time nervous. I wanted people to know, help and support him because this is his story."

The Story will air at 5:30 and 10 PM until Sunday on your local NBC 11 News channel.

The Frito Pie/Hotdog stand looked like it was doing good when I was there earlier for lunch. :)

Keeping Strong and Fighting

They are going to try and slowly take Andre off a lot of drugs through the IV. And give him the medication through his feeding tube. Please continue to pray for Andre's complete healing and for his brain to be completely fine when he recovers.

**UPDATE**
Right now Andre is getting more agitated due to him coming off of the drugs. He is also fighting a lot now and trying to talk. We know this must be a stress on him not really understanding whats happening and trying to talk. So please continue to pray that he will be able to stay calm when he wakes up. 

Heard from Lee

I just heard from Lee and here is what he said.

The nurses said we may be rounding a corner. He is waking up more but is highly agitated and is going through withdrawls. Andre is still stable but critical.

Please continue to pray for strength in Andre Lee and Candy it is much needed now.

Dr. Update

The X-Rays were good for Andre today. The Dr. likes the way he has improved the last couple of days. They upped his food intake. Andre is still in and out and responding but is critical.

So please continue to pray for the strength in Andre Lee and Candy.

Update

André had a good night. They upped his steroids today. The Dr. said his X-Rays look better today. I will keep you posted more through out the day.

Update and Fruita City Market Fundraiser's

Andre is still slowly improving he is stable but very critical. He is still on the ventilator and his lungs sounded clear tonight. Please continue to pray that his lungs get stronger. He was sedated some more to help relax him because he gets agitated. He doesn't wake up as much because of the more sedation but he still does wake up. And he is responding to the nurses when he is awake. There is still blood in his urine it comes and goes but they are watching it. We pray for complete healing. Please pray for Lee and Candy that the Lord will give them strength and rest from the restless days and nights.

Day Six

Today is day six here in I.C.U at St. Luke Presbyterenian Hospital...ugh it's been exhausting and we have had or up's and down's with or Little Andre!! He is such an amazing guy that is loved by so many and we have FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ that he is going to pull through this bump in the road. Everyone has been so generious here and the staff here is amazing. He is a fighter. The grandparents and parents have been staying in the waiting room day and night. Please pray that they stay strong and have peace. The rest of the family has been staying at the Ronald McDonald house. Thanks so much for The Ronald McDonald Home!!! The Lord has already showed us some miracles from this little guy already!! I can't wait for him to wake up and tell us all the stories and dreams he has had and hear his cute little voice again. Thanks so much for all your prayer's and please continue to pray...God is good and he answer's prayer's and he say's he does not go back on his Word. Jesus is bigger then this! Thanks again everybody.

**UPDATE

Andre is being weaned off his paralytic some. So he can hear and move a little. Lee wants everyone to know that even though this is good Andre is still in serious conditions. It's a slow process and he doesn't want people getting too excited. Andre is in and out, and when he awakes it's only for like thirty seconds. Lee asks him yes or no questions which he replies with shaking his head. Please still pray for Andre and the family his lungs are still in the same condition and that is our number one priority right now. 

We know everyone is anxious to visit or see Andre but at this time Lee, Candy and Grandparents are the only ones being allowed to see him. They ask for visitors to wait for his full recovery. This is crucial now because Andre is scared and in severe conditions still. Lee and Candy are at his bed side at all times to calm him when he wakes. Thank you keep the prayers and support for Andre coming. 

***UPDATE 
There is blood in Andre's urine again please pray for complete healing of this. 

Good Day, Bad Day, But Good Overall

This morning was good. Shortly after Andre was down graded with the ventilator he had to be upgraded again to the one that he was on. In the afternoon we had a set back, Andre's left lung collapsed. After the collapes the family that was here prayed. A lung specailist came in and cleaned it out and with Gods grace Andre's lung was just as good as it was this morning. Andre is completly off the drug that they think is causing blood in his urine. We ask to continue to have massive prayers for Andre's full recovery and be cured of this disease. Please pray for Lee, Candy, Marissa and family to continue to stay and be strong during these tough times.

God has showed us his work many times already with Andre's story. And we believe when Andre comes out of this God has something in store for him.

Doctors Update "Cautiously Optimistic"

 Andre has been placed on a new ventilator. This is good because the one before was the last thing they could do for him to do better. He also has some blood in his urine. The doctor thinks this is due to a drug so they are slowly weaning him off of it. And his left lung has open. The doctor said to be "Cautiously Optimistic." Thank you for all the support and continue to pray.

Doctors Update

Andre had a good 20 hours. The doctor has said that Andre has IMPROVED! This is the first time the doctor has actually used the word improved. Starting the day off with good news. He hasn't had albuterol nebulizer treatment in a while. Which is a treatment for his asthma that he has been on for the past couple of days.They are going to start to wean him off one medication. Lets continue to pray that the news keeps getting better and better.
